Here’s a refresher on the guiding idea behind each of the DC20 Subclasses:
Barbarian
- Elemental Rage: With an elemental rage you can surround yourself with the elements (such as fire, lightning, water, earth) or violent weather (such as blizzards, storms, volcanoes, or earthquakes).
- Spirit Guardian: Ancestral spirits that protect your allies and stop your enemies as you fight and follow the old ways.
- Paragon Barbarian: A towering force of primal fury, wielding raw strength and savage instinct against all foes.
Bard
- Jester/Comedy: Make a fool of yourself as you buff allies and debuff/control enemies.
- Eloquence/Glamour: Your presence, appearance, or way of speaking is awe inspiring to allies and charming / persuasive to others.
- Paragon Bard: A charismatic wanderer, weaving magic and melody, charming hearts and turning battles with lyrical flair.
Champion
- Sentinel: Shield your companions with unwavering resolve as a bulwark, while drawing the ire of your foes like a beacon of defiance.
- Hero/Warrior: Strike with greater ferocity with an fighting spirit matched only by your disciplined martial skill.
- Paragon Champion: A noble warrior, clad in shining armor, embodying honor, valor, and unwavering devotion to justice.
Cleric
- Priest: Minister to the poor and needy with hanced healing magic and can protect your allies from harm.
- Inquisitor: You use your divine magic to seek out, interrogate, and punish the enemies of light, order, and justice.
- Paragon Cleric: A devoted vessel of divine power, channeling sacred magic to heal, protect, and inspire hope.
Commander
- Warlord: You’re a master tactician for your allies and use your commanding presence to break the morale of your enemies.
- Crusader: You’re a gallant hero who instills bravery in your allies and protects them from harm.
- Paragon Commander: A strategic leader, rallying troops with unwavering resolve, sharp tactics, and an inspiring presence.
Druid
- Phoenix: Wield the powers of flames to consume enemies in fire and warm the souls of allies.
- Rampant Growth: You can shapeshift into plants and control them as weapons.
- Paragon Druid: A mystic guardian of nature, wielding primal magic to shape, heal, and commune with the wild.
Hunter
- Trapper: Stalk, set, wait… TRAP. You set traps for your enemies and can recognize and disarm traps you come across.
- Monster Slayer: You use concoctions that boost your capabilities in combat in unique ways, letting you adapt to fighting a variety of enemies.
- Paragon Hunter: A relentless tracker, master of bow and blade, attuned to the wilderness and its silent rhythms.
Monk
- Shifting Tide: Glide through your enemies, with increased mobility and the ability to redirect Attacks made against you.
- Astral Self: Project your spirit outside of your body, letting you target your enemies’ minds and deflect magic.
- Paragon Monk: A disciplined ascetic, mastering body and mind through focused training, inner peace, and swift, precise strikes.
Rogue
- Swashbuckler: A flashy duelist that taunts enemies and fights them head-on to get the upper hand.
- Long Death: Bleeding your enemies dry with precision, strategic attacks, focusing on dealing damage over time effects.
- Paragon Rogue: A shadowy figure, quick and cunning, thriving on stealth, deception, and precise, deadly strikes.
Sorcerer
- Angelic: Your angelic power that lets you sear your enemies while healing and protecting your allies.
- Draconic: Draconic in origin, spirit, and appearance, you have extra hardiness and the ability to freely make your spells deal elemental damage
- Paragon Sorcerer: A born wielder of raw, untamed magic, channeling power through sheer will and innate charisma.
Spellblade
- Rune Knight: You can imbue your equipment with runes that grant additional power.
- Paladin: A divine warrior with an oath and aura to smite those that stand against his cause
- Paragon Spellblade: A master of both sword and spell, seamlessly blending steel with arcane power in battle.
Warlock
- Eldritch: You can harness the maddening power of eldritch forces to broaden your mind and break the minds of others.
- Fey: You become more like a Fey, beguiling your foes and making them subject to your whims.
- Paragon Warlock: Pact-bound in exchange for wielding dark magic granted by otherworldly powers.
Wizard
- Witch: Extensive knowledge of curses and hexes sabotage enemies at a distance.
- Portal Mage: Teleport yourself and allies, and create portals that you can cast your spells through.
- Paragon Wizard: A scholarly mage, mastering arcane arts through years of study, wielding powerful magic with precision.
